Our goal is to use financial aid to help cover as much of the yearly tuition as possible.

CCS will work one-on-one with families to secure any available financial aid to cover as much of the educational costs as possible.  There are two buckets of money from which families can pull support. 1) The Parental Choice Tax Credit, and 2) Additional Scholarships, such as the Opportunity Scholarship Fund, the Lindsay Nicole Henry Scholarship, and Folds of Honor.

Contingent upon you applying for and being approved for the Parental Choice Tax Credit, here is a breakdown of what tuition and cost would look like, depending upon your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) from *2024 (look at Line 11 on your federal/IRS tax form 1040 for your family’s AGI).

PARENTAL CHOICE TAX CREDIT (PCTC)

The Parental Choice Tax Credit (PCTC) program provides an income tax credit of $5,000–$7,500 for eligible Oklahoma taxpayers who pay, or expect to pay, qualified expenses such as tuition and fees to an eligible private school on behalf of an eligible student who attends or plans to attend an eligible private school during that tax year. The PCTC application for the 2026-2027 school year will be available for taxpayers to complete on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 9 a.m. These resources are available to guide applicants through the process.

Parents/Legal Guardians must first fill out an application for each student to receive an Enrollment Verification Number (EVN), which will be used to apply for the PCTC. One application is required per student. Once you have entered the information for each student, and CCS submits that to the Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC), you should receive an email from the OTC with your student's EVN. *Please note that receiving an EVN from CCS does not guarantee enrollment.*

Once your student has been approved or denied for the PCTC, we can try to use the following programs to help cover any remaining balance.

LINDSEY NICOLE HENRY (LNH) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Students who have been adopted while in permanent custody of DHS may be eligible for the Lindsey Nicole Henry (LNH) Scholarship Program. If approved, families may receive tuition and fee assistance. Applications are due no later than December 1 of the academic year of enrollment each year. To apply or learn more, visit the LNH website.

OPPORTUNITY SCHOLARSHIP FUND (OSF)

The Opportunity Scholarship Fund is a donor-based organization that provides scholarships to students who attend an accredited private school in the state of Oklahoma. This need-based scholarship is designed to give families greater flexibility in their students' educational choices. Funding varies from year to year based on donations. To learn more or donate to the CCS fund, please visit the OSF website. To apply to receive OSF scholarships, an account with FACTS must also be established.  Application Instructions

FOLDS OF HONOR (FOH)

Folds of Honor provides scholarships for students from military and first-responder families. Visit the FOH website to review eligibility requirements and submit an application. Applications are accepted annually from February 1 through March 31. CCS does not have access to FOH applications; all scholarship decisions are issued directly to families by FOH.
